Dear God, send Your Spirit, hear from heaven our prayer and our plea, and uphold our cause. When we sin against You--for there is no one who does not sin--and You become angry with us and give us over to our own way; when the enemy parades in the streets of our city and takes many of us captive in confusion, trespasses, miseries and depression far away from You, Jesus help us!

You promise if we have a change of heart in this place where we are held captive, and repent and plead with You in the land of our captivity and say, 'We have sinned, we have done wrong and acted wickedly'; and if we turn back to You with all their heart and soul and pray toward the hills from where our help comes from and toward the heavens you created; then from heaven, Your dwelling place, You will hear our prayer and our pleas, and uphold our cause and forgive us, who have sinned against You.  Now, my God, may Your eyes be open and Your ears attentive to the prayers offered over this state and this nation. Now arise, O Lord God, and come to Colorado, and visit our places of work, living and entertainment.  Rest, rule and abide among us always and forever!
